The Wrong Colora story about the rigors of childhood paranoia
Storyline: A boy named Warden does not approve of the new chair his parents have brought into the house. Specifically, it has replaced Warden's favorite chair. He really doesn't like the color of the new chair, either, and he starts noticing it more and more throughout the house. He begins to remove the offending color from the house entirely, throwing the family into upheaval and their possessions into the spare room.
Warden does not spare the treasures of his bedroom.
He discards strings of colored lights, assorted soldiers and a pretty cool spaceman. This is obviously serious.
I can explain the bird.
In his frenzy to rid the house of the "wrong color," Warden foolishly makes an enemy of his cat.Read about the character sketches for this project.
Big thanks to Rachael Cole for all of her help.
