Picklea story about stubbornness
Molly plans the best picnic ever and has her heart set on including pickles, her favorite. But the jar is stuck! In her desperation to pry it open she tries everything she can imagine, including handing it over to a lion. Lions are strong, right? But a little uncooperative. The real solution proves to be much simpler.
On her journey she finds out that cleverness is not the same as helpfulness.
And that enlisting an entire audience to coax out the pickles doesn't work, either. Spoiler: in the end, exhausted, she just asks her mother for help. That wasn't so hard, was it?
Big thanks to Pat Cummings for her support.
